Holmes moved the lamp, and we both bent over the sheet of paper, which showed by its ragged edge that it had indeed been torn from a book.ホームズがランプを動かすと、私たちは二人で紙片をのぞき込んだ。ぎざぎざの端から、確かに本から破り取られたものだと分かった。
