ハンター嬢は次に、自分の寝室で起きた奇妙な出来事を語る。荷ほどきの際、書き物机の引き出しの一つだけが鍵で閉ざされていると気づいた。自分の持つ小さな鍵を慎重に試すと錠が開き、中には一つの物がしまわれている。
